About Maniac

When I was 16 I started doing tattoos in my bedroom in
Mexico City. By the age of 20 I moved to Portland, Oregon
to work in a professional shop. I worked there part time for
five years. After which, I moved to California to open a
tattoo shop. I enjoy doing every type of tattoo and piercing.
My favorite type would be doing Aztec images because it
represents my culture. I have been a professional piercer
for five years. "If you believe in your dreams, the only
person who is going to believe in you is YOU."

I started tattooing six years ago. My influences really
are, Boris Viellijo, Olivia & artists like Paul Booth and
Chris Carter. Being able to provide what a person
wants expressed on skin still amazes me. Growing
up in sunny Nor Cal, Sacramento, I brought tattooing
to the neighborhood I was raised in - Del Paso
Heights (DPH). I was lucky to hook up with my
partner Bernardo a few years back and learn some
ins and outs of laying the colors. I still love black &
grays portraits, and realism.

I'm Mykie, I've been tattooing for about 17 years. My
biggest artistic influences are H.R.Giger, and Salvador
Dali. I'd really like to start directing my artistic expression
into graphic design,while keeping a tattoo artist feel to
